Understanding Bias in Machine Learning

We recently partnered with the folks at Data Science Festival to do a lunch and learn session on understanding bias in data science. The goal of this talk was to raise awareness around the different types of bias that can impact your work, show some real life case studies and suggest some possible solutions. While there are no magic answers to completely eradicate this issue, raising awareness and not treating it like an afterthought can hopefully change things for the better.
